Death of Miss Melinda Hays October 14 at ll o'clock p.m. Miss Malinda Hays, aged 79 years, died at her home three miles south of the city. She had been bedridden for 20 years and death came to her as a relief. She had lived in this county since early childhood and was a true and earnest Christian woman. She was a sister of Rev. S.M. Hays.

Last night at 11 o’clock Miss Melinda Hays, aged 79 years, died at her home three miles south of the city. She had been bedridden for 20 years and death came to her as a relief. She had lived in this county since early childhood and was a true and earnest Christian woman. She was a sister of Rev. S. M. Hays. The funeral will occur tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock.
